1/2 I adore your blog! I wanted to share one of the moments that really tipped me over from the fence to hat. It was at the 2015 Denver Con J2 Gold Breakfast & J2 are asked about what they look forward to with their family. Jensen responds with: "We got to spend some time with OUR family yesterday & um, we let the kids run around & they are a little young. I'm looking forward to when I actually go do something like fly a kite with my daughter...or playing catch with one of his boys.
2/2 When we get to the point where playing with them is fun for both of us…right now it’s just like herding cats & making sure they don’t run into the street.” To me, it was such a sweet & telling answer – from the OUR family to Jensen looking forward to milestones/activities with not just his kid, but Jared’s too. Jensen only had JJ at the time & yet he talked about the kids as essentially as a single unit. Like it never crossed his mind not to include Jared’s boys in his answer.

Here’s the part you mean! Jensen gives a sweet answer indeed, saying he looks forward to the kids growing up. And yeah, referring to a singular family like Jared did in HousCon. ;) Also, a little later (25:30 onwards) Jared jokes about Jensen and JJ watching movies and overhearing JJ requesting the Godfather. It’s a joke, I know, just thought I’d mention it. ;)
There have been so many minor slips like this over the years that it’s hard to keep track of them. In principle, they could support the commune theory as well, but the major hole in that theory is how seldom we see the ladies together. I just don’t buy it. I think this singular family comes from how the J’s see all of the children as their own.
