A friend’s new villa down the coast is out of radio range for cell phones, so while they have fiber internet, they lack an incoming telephone. Delivered over fiber, a conventional old-style telephone can be used... 

The villa even has a telephone booth, where an old magneto wallphone was previously mounted.
