huh! at first blush it sounds like a contradiction in terms, but it might actually make sense - it depends on what they mean by “girl” :0
specifically, there are nonbinary genders that can reasonably be self-described as “girl” - such as demigirl, none gender with left girl, and so on! people of these genders are not binary girls, of course, but if they wish to they can still legitimately say they’re girls
and, of course, nonbinary people weren’t assigned their correct gender at birth, since cis parents don’t know there are more than two genders, which means they’re trans! so there u go!
it’s a little confusing to describe urself that way without saying “nb” but it’s legitimate i think!
