I've always loved the Depesche TopModel stuff, it's so pretty. Back in the 80's and 90's when I was growing up, I would've loved these. Traditional paper doll dress-up books kept me amused back then for the whole summer, seriously, I never got bored of them. This feels like the modern equivalent-I recently found the Dress Me Up Manga one I'd bought a while back but not touched, so for weeks I've been busy with that and realised I should order some other variations to keep going. Thankfully, just doing a little bit at a time is something I can mostly manage these days. I have a couple of the design ones where you have to actually design clothes onto blank models, but I'm not able for that.
I've even ordered tweezers to help with the stickers (big hands and fiddly bits!), it's so much fun though, I'm loving it. The Fantasy one is quite challenging, the beach one is surprisingly fun though I've found myself cutting the stickers because the pages are colourful and I hate any white 'background' bits showing (i.e. the gap between their legs on shorts or between their arm and body)-I wish they'd properly cut the stickers to allow for that. I thought the winter one would be more fun than it is, some of the pieces are questionable, not really grasping their vibe other than the cute pastel stuff. The centre one in the back is a bigger version, which takes a bit of getting used to (Cutie Star). I'm glad I counted out all the outfits first as there's not enough for the dolls weirdly. Nothing will beat the Manga one though, the pieces in that are just so adorable.
