And I decided to share some steps of my drawing process here. I know many people are ashamed of tracing the reference, but I don’t find it bad or shameful, as long as you don’t copy someone’s artwork. My first step is always highlighting some main points of reference, head, position of nose and eyes, joints etc. Because anathomy is still hard for me. And then I do my sketch, line work and base colours. Do you use lines or do you paint over your sketch?
