#depression update

Motherfucking D-O-N-E.

Sure, it still needs a bunch of revision rounds, but I was determined to finish the initial writing of Soul in 2023 and by jove, I've done it. Done it! 185k, plus all my blood, sweat, and tears.

However, if you can't celebrate finishing something, then you are doing it wrong, and by you, I mean me. So, yay! Fucking did it, despite the slump! Can't wait to share it--editing starts next week.

In a really good update today, it seems that my TV consumption is now under control. I was able to use TV as a break today without falling into a binge watching hole and I'm really proud of myself

Also, I was able to avoid a lot of negative self talk today despite being under a lot of stress and some bad feelings this morning, which I'm super proud of

I've been so physically exhausted these past couple of days, that my depression has not been able to affect me. I'm just happy to be doing something with my life, instead of sitting at home, not working.

i miss feeling feelings tbh. like it seems that on anti depressants you don’t feel feelings either like i was expecting tbh. you just go from not feeling them through the numbness of depression to like not feeling them due to the glaze of the anti depressants? other than that i’m a lot better on them and i should have done this like 5 years ago atleast  lmao

I’ve been in a really bad depressive episode for a week now and I am so tired. I’m so tired of the self harm imagery. I’m so tired of not being able to focus, or feeling like my lungs are going to collapse at any minute. I’m tired of feeling simultaneously so manic and so depressed. I wish I could solve this.
