As much as Rodolphus didn’t want to admit it, he was genuinely curious about this party that Ludo Bagman was hosting. The invitation seemed to be addressed to him for whatever reason and Rod wasn’t going to say no to a party, even if mingling with certain students didn’t sound like a whole lot of fun. At least there will be alcohol and hopefully some entertainment. He walked into the Room of Requirement, scanning his environment and taking note of anything important. He steered clear of a couple of annoying Hufflepuffs that thought they were dancing, walking through the crowd to where he saw the drinks set up. He carefully looked over each one, wondering if anything was spiked with something unpleasant. He should have brought his own, that would have been smarter, safer. “You call this a drink selection?” The words were out of his mouth too quickly, without thought, as he clicked his tongue. Rod was only vaguely aware of someone next to him, hoping they would just walk away and mind their own business but he knew that his luck simply didn’t work like that.
