I kind of ignored this frame because like... yeah Icarus is probably willing to sacrifice anyone for her goals, being the morally gray girlboss that she is. But with the revelation that the encased flower is probably the one Astler created, then this frame likely alludes to Astler fusing with the cael core.

Before Episode 118 happened I loved that Huey & Eisner were parallels to Shinsa & Shinzen. Both were siblings (twins, even) that stayed together despite the forces that tried to drive them apart (competitive environment+demon conversion).
Now... STOP THE PARALLELS!!! LET SHINSA AND SHINZEN BOTH LIVE AND BE HAPPY!!!
