At first, I found it a bit bland, because I thought the premise is too dark (and too serious) for a comedy film. But hey, it was able to manage the pace of the film and I found it very funny. Well, no wonder, because one of the directors is Stephen Chow—the same person who directed Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle! By the way, Shu Qi here is simply stunning.
