Gasps fill both the booth and living room. Not a single person had thought this would be an outcome.
“Scan us again! This can’t be right!”
Unfortunately, the booth doesn’t lie.Natalie and Derek are indeed not a match. Their matches are somewhere amongst those in the living room, but it’s hard to think of that when the person you were sure it was is standing right in front of you.
After their confirmed match, Ini and Bronson are too happy to pay attention to the next set of results. However, everyone else stills waits, hoping to get that 4th match and put them one step closer to winning.
“Ready to move out of here into our own private paradise?”
“Absolutely!”
Derek and Natalie enjoy watching the sun set together on the patio at the casino. If they notice what’s going on in the hot tub across from them, neither mention it.
“I’m taking Natalie on this date when I win,” Derek announces.
“Dude. Did you see your scores?” Tennessee is determined to burst Derek’s bubble. Chance looks on quietly, preparing himself for the inevitable tie breaker. Nahng is going down.
-WHOA! What’s happening here?!?-
A brief interlude as the scores for the guys are tallied and the bars cleaned and readied for the next round of drinks.
The ladies waste no time in getting in there for flirting.
-Bridgette, Eden, I’m not even going to bother wasting my breath telling you how pointless this is anymore.-
There’s only so much room in the sunroom for bars, so the group has been split into male and female sections. The guys are going first.
“Ha. I got this. Easy-peasy.”
-You sure seem cocky Tennessee.-
“It’s not cocky. It’s confidence, duh.”
Derek scrutinizes the can of juice, hoping it comes with a recipe.
-Natalie, you’re up. Who’s your pick?-
“Derek, obviously.”
They’re so adorably excited they get to sit next to each other. They even match.
-Alright Bridgette. You’re up and you’ve got Eden, Tennessee, and Adan to choose from.-
“Sadly, Eden and I aren’t a match. If he and I aren’t a match, that means Adan must be my match.”
-Guess we’ll wait and find out.-
Derek is absolutely dismayed that they’ve squandered yet another opportunity to confirm a match. Jean makes more googly eyes at Chance who’s suspiciously eyeing Eli make not-so-furtive gestures to April before they not so sneakily sneak off. Trent’s just glad to have the tv back.
