buckleysims I love how you format/arrange your pictures all quirky like that. It's so cute. Does it take ages to edit them into a collage? Just out of curiosity. :) You have such a pretty aesthetic!

Omg! TYSM! It's honestly really easy. I have a PS routine with some saved actions that I edit the photos with. Then I use these templates in some sort or fashion. Whatever strikes me at the time. https://saartje77.tumblr.com/post/650922609780850688/i-love-these-and-these-psds-for-posting-sim-pics

It has links to a couple other templates that I use as well. I have them saved in one psd. So when I go to edit...I load all my screenshots in a stack...run my actions...then duplicate them to the psd...and then sort, resize and then export the image. Put them in a scheduled queue and I'm good to go.

Thank you! It was one of my favorite lot to build. If you’re interested in seeing more of the place (it’s also a fire station), I’ve re-visited a video tour I made back in 2015 with my then 6 yo oldest nephew (he is 11 now). That’s when he decided to make that drawing for my game ^^

Thank you! It actually gave me the perfect excuse to revisit TV series from the late 90s, early 2000, totally for inspiration purposes of course *coughcough* ;-D  It’s super fun to build and decorate for Sims 2 towns in the Sims 3 and make me use things I wouldn’t use for a French sim-town (which are more up my alley). This one was a diner in Pleasantview: (sorry for the v. bright pic :-/)

I posted them on TSD, in my Sim3fied thread :-D I still have the original post as I save everything (coz temperamental internet connection ^^). I had also posted that WIP map (below) but that was it about Strangetown I think. The rest of the thread was about Pleasantview.

Nope indeed! From Strangetown I think I only shared the WIP map and the pics of buildings: city hall, school… But I did play a bit with the town once it was more advanced and ya know who I picked to 1st play with? Ajay Loner . And It was because of you!  I hadn’t really played with him in the Sims 2 but I remember you saying he used to be one of your favorite when we were making our TSD town ^^  Here he is at the café.

Thank you! They were a lot of fun to ‘design’ !! Most of the lots still exist somewhere on my computer, so don’t hesitate to let me know if you’re interested in any of them  I can fish them out (though some are on big lots or are barely started) or find where most of the cc used comes from. :-)

I might have way too many towns but I’m a mood-player and was in an alieninvasion-armycoveredup- alieninbarelytheredisguisewholivesinthemostmisplacedhouseever- kinda mood when building this town ^^

Had pb commenting  so couldn’t say it on your post but  @laurademelza I’ll see your Ledisizilla (she was adorable in a gigantic way, btw <3) and I raise you a Buzz-illa (General Buzz Grunt, way less adorable) from early days Strangetown (circa 2015). ;-D

Maybe look in Device Manger if you haven't tried this. Just type into search box and check to make sure drivers are up to date or best driver being used. This happens to my screen at times even tho I have a new hard drive and updated drivers to my knowledge. But I've read that if drivers aren't up to date it will affect performance. I’ve actually tried this, but there are no immediate issues displayed and all the devices I checked individually so far tell me they’re up to date. But it’s good to know that the borked screenshot seems to be a normal glitch!

Oh, gosh! I hope it's just a matter of adjusting the right driver. I don't think I've seen this error before.

Oh no! D: I really wish I could help, but I am no good at computer stuff. I do hope you can figure it out though! I'd be heartbroken to lose you. </3 Don’t worry too much, y’all - in the absolute worst case I’ll have to buy a new computer or replace another part. This one is 11 years old, but I’ve been upgrading parts of it over time.

This is so awesome! ♥ I know next to nothing about object creation, but in regards to the drink problem I do have one idea. Is LiKo's bar shorter than EA's? If so, could that be what's causing the floating coffee? Not entirely sure, but the drink height could be set as part of the animation, and if so changing the height of the counter wouldn't make the drink go lower. If you look at EA's bar, there is also a lip at the edge that's taller than counter height. And that's..

...And that's where they set the coffee down as part of the serving animation sequence. Just a thought! Anyway, I love this. Very cool project! :D

Oops, I just checked in game, and I was mistaken. The outer lip of the barista bar IS at counter height, but the part where the coffee machine sits is not. It's a bit shorter at just above dining table height. I can't quite tell from your pictures, but it seems like your barista bar might be lower than the default counter height? But maybe not. Either way, good luck! Love your work!

Yes, it’s caused by the height difference between the counters. Liko’s counter is shorter than the lid of the EA original. I lowered the slot where the cup shows up when it’s done but sadly it didn’t change accordingly in game. I think I’ll add a cup shelf there to give the cup position a more convincing explanation.:P

Thank you dear! LiKo did great job with the original bar. I simply want to give it a modernized look with more decor options. I’m also working on the cup of the coffee/juice/tea/energy drink coming along with the bar(the textures only). If my RL work allows, the mini set could be ready by this weekend!
