How does each Strider brother console one another?

Let’s see...

Derek (Bro) - unlikely to actively comfort at all, usually just sits down next to sad bab and lets them vent at him, maybe does a little shoulder pat once they’re done

Darren (A.Dave) - big hug vibes with lots of back pats, gentle n quiet “It’s okay”s for encouragement, if at home makes some warm snacc for sad bab

Dirk - awkward hugs and not that great attempts at verbal encouragement, but at least he’s trying, will give the sad bab his hoodie for comfy vibes

Dan (Hal) - less hugging, more talking, sits down with sad bab and paps them on the knee if possible, lots of encouraging speeches that devolve into other topics

Doug (Brobot) - hugs to sad bab and clinging to them until they feel better, could also borrow his games

Dave - encouraging paps with some distracting joking around, invites a hug from sad bab

Damien (Davesprite) -  distraction extroirdinaire, talks about random shit and jokes a lot to get the sad bab’s mind off of things, probably leads them around the place and rants off on random things he notices

Data (Davepeta) - takes sad bab out on a walk and lets em chill out in nature, lots of verbal support

Arin (Aquiusprite) - lift the sad bab, carry them in front of a screen, put on fav shows and watch together

Body difference's between Bro and Dirk? (Besides general age difference I mean)

This was actually really fun to do and think over.

Also, some written out details about the specific differences under the cut:

Body differences:

Bro is muscular, but still rather lean (Not bulky, Agility and Speed > Strength); Dirk has less muscle mass (and just less mass overall), but is still fairly well-built

Bro is a hairy fella; Dirk’s body hair didn’t get the memo

Bro’s hands are wide and have rather thick fingers; Dirk has boney hands with long thin fingers

Bro has many scars, pretty much all from fights, a few self-inflicted; Dirk has only a few scars, almost all from dumb accidents

Bro’s tattoo stretches from the side of his neck, across his shoulder and a little bit of his chest, all the way to half of his biceps; Dirk has tattoos on his shoulder (which may change depending on the mood of the situation for symbolism purposes) and on his forearms

Facial differences:

Bro’s face is square-shaped and angular, with a wide jaw; Dirk’s face is slimmer but still with sharp edges

Bro has noticable cheekbones; Dirk has baby cheeks

Bro’s nose is wider and has more definition; Dirk’s nose is longer and slimmer

Bro’s eyes are more squinted and have a more defined “winged” look to them; Dirk’s eyes are wider with less defined edges

Bro’s eyebrows bend in three points in a resting expression; Dirk’s eyebrows bend in two points in a resting expression

Bro’s eyebags are larger; Dirk’s eyebags tend to be darker and more defined

Bro’s hair is shorter and gelled into three visible sections, two that go outside the hat and a middle one that gets covered; Dirk’s hair is longer and gelled all together with some unlucky leftovers poking at the bottom

Bro’s bangs are straight and cover more of his forehead; Dirk’s bangs are at an angle and have less volume

Bro gets to have some facial hair; Dirk has none

Who would be a better cuddle buddy out of all the Striders?

Ho boy let’s see.

Bro definitely has the most surface area, being a tall twunk. However his cuddle-sense is zero-to-none, so you’re unlikely to be cuddled back if you do. Maybe you’ll get a pat on the back in return.

Alpha Dave is the second in the biggest amount of cuddle area, and he is certainly more approachable than Bro. This guy’s a busy dude though, so he might have to deny cuddletime quite often to do important business shit, like making dumb movies and fighting alien tyrants. 

Dirk has the optimal amount of twunk-twink hybridization to be perfect for those that want to completely wrap their arms around a waist. He is completely inept at responding to cuddles though, and will most likely just freeze in place if you attempt it.

Hal has a bit less ineptitude than Dirk in this regard, but he’s still prone to bluescreening if the cuddles come as a surprise. Also it’s not advised to hug him from the front as he will absolutely be a little piece of shit and tickle you till you release him.

Brobot is the most equipped to handle cuddletime out of the dirk splinters and would absolutely appreciate it. The issues come when he reciprocates, because you’re very likely to get heavily damaged with the amount of force he applies to hugs. Wear protective armor if you wish to attempt it.

ARquiusprite is very much like Hal, except there’s more muscle to cuddle against, and you’re very likely to end up drenched in sweat even from a very short and mild cuddle session. Crushing damage also likely, though not as severe as from an encounter with Brobot.

Dave would take a while to warm up to the idea, and would probably keep evading your attempts. However, once he accepts it, he’s likely to stay at your side for a while. More comfortable cuddling you first than letting you approach him.

Davesprite is very similar to Dave, however he has the advantage of fluff. He’s also easier to scare away, and very picky about where you can touch him. However he can and will swoop you up for a quick cuddle at any time without warning.

Davepeta is definitely the cuddliest of the bunch. While certainly the smallest in terms of cuddle surface area alone, they are the most willing, and you will never get rid of them once they’re attached. Go around a corner and they jumpscare you with a glomp. Just a lot more affectionate than your standard Strider.
