another crunchy chasind malcolm bit is that because he has so thoroughly scrubbed his past from existence he raises his kids very much in line with chantry dogma. and it IS strict. it’s everything that was drilled into him as a chasind boy brought to the circles, picked at by the chantry mother because he was Other. his kids are devout andrastians. they do not know his gods. they are bound by the fears that another religion sought to impose on him.
