I am SO sad to share that I had to take my dermal anchors out today. I've had them in for the last 10 years!!! They were part of me, I loved how they looked, they were by far my favorite piercings. Check back tomorrow to find out why I had to take them out. 😕 . Nick at The Piercing Smiths was FANTASTIC. His demeanor was so calming for something I knew was going to hurt and that I was sad about. He was super knowledgeable and so helpful with all the questions I had. If anyone in the area wants a piercing - go see him! . We were talking about the scarring it may leave (small circles) but honestly, I don't mind having scars! They show my journey. They remind me of things I've been through that made me happy and made me stronger. . Love your body. Enjoy your journey. Embrace the scars. Decorate your body with things that make you happy! 💕 . #piercings #dermalanchors #thepiercingsmiths #decorateyourbody #loveyourscars #wearyourscarsproudly #partofthejourney #breaththroughthepain #sadface #everythinghappensforareason #kindafit (at Piercing Smiths) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq0qVcZFrUL/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ho77wsv0t1cq
