THEM. Themmmmm! THEM UUUUUU
I've made a lot of progress on my own artistic skill since I last reworked this character sheet (just a few months ago now). I couldn't resist updating it again to test myself. Some ridiculous improvements in construction and proportion. I'm super elated to see such progress in my own work in just a few months time. Now is time to continue moving forward!
Basil’s updated character sheet!
Basil Genovere has come so far. They have got to be the OC I have put the most thought and love into. And I have to thank my S.O. @sarenderpity for that. Developing them alongside Thym has truly been an adventure. My first foray into Victorian design and the steampunk genre but not my last by a long-shot! I hope to create several more character sheets for the @basilandthym characters we've thought up together. I hope you're ready. 💕 We've got quite the cast of spices for you all to enjoy with us
Trying something called rambling about my dnd characters here like I would on twitter
I'm finishing up rereading the Great Gatsby for an annotated version for a friend. And - let's face it- most of it is me lamenting over my OC Petrichor who is basically just if Gatsby were a better simp and actually more of a murderer about it.
Petrichor KNEW F. Scott Fitzgerald. He approached him a couple times and eventually it did end with bloodying the fucker up.
And yeah- It was mostly the disrespect toward women that did it, but the fact that Petrichor felt both called out and misrepresented in "The Great Gatsby" surely had some hand in it too.
And January 2021 Petrichor learns the Great Gatsby is in the public domain, and in one last FUCK YOU to Francis, Petrichor decides to do a little indulgent rewrite for therapy's sake.
But yeah, Men being super shitty to women on principle and it causing all the problems in the Great Gatsby,
I can see it being in Petrichor's remake it's extremely women's rights to the point that any man is just so grateful for even the worst treatment. Women shouldnt have to be subservient perfect little wives to be cherished and cared for. They shouldnt be trapped and toyed with, and made to suffer for men's follies and obsessions.
Marital and romantic belonging as well as secrecy are absolutely something that haunts Petrichor so he'd not do completely away with the concept - but I do think there's going to be more to it than, a woman can't love two men, the two men would never allow it.
To top it all off, I do think Petrichor is going to lean into the Eyes of Dr T J Eckleberg being more of an eldritch presence upon the world. Because fixations but also the belief that an old god might be hovering in interest over human trauma and suffering is just tantalizing on its own.
Doctor Doctor! Give me the news! I've gotta bad case of lovin' you ☠🖤 I really want to do some freelance, if you've got anything in mind, hit me up! posted on Instagram - https://ift.tt/3adZAil
We're losing you to the gutter 😼🖤 Quick couple hour illustration I did of the Chaos Curator himself: Pan. :B Felt Inspired after reading @575pfe 's amazing story on Webtoons: The End of Main, had to draw one of my boys. posted on Instagram - https://ift.tt/33W1xwJ
Started thinking about casual wear for Tetch. More on the modern side here but determined the guy probably likes some distressed jeans, v neck tees, high waisted jeans (makes him look slightly taller ok), and occasionally a tucked/partially tucked patterned buttondown. & of course the jacket obsession is still real posted on Instagram - https://ift.tt/2HNQrkw
