Ok, theory. There are multiple reasons why you joined professor chaos.

You realized that your dad's gonna bang your mom no matter what

You got bored of order and decided to be evil for a change

You like him, as in You didn't want him to be lonely with the fact he's either soloing, with general disarray, or a kind and misunderstood kid somewhere underneath that loads of aluminum foil.
