@derrm ACK I never got any notifications so I just now saw your comment!! There was a street festival some years ago and they had an area for adopting animals and there was a pigeon adopting table! They didn't have any to adopt, they were just there to let people know about them and the person attending the station had a pigeon! So I got to pet it and stuff. I don't remember what the place is called but maybe there's a similar place near you. It was a rescue kind of place where they save pigeons that are bred for food(squab) And there was a time when I was a kid where I took care of a pigeon that got hurt. It actually just slept and sat on my lap for a few hours and it was fairly heavy since I was small, but now they weigh nothing to me. So touching one again as an adult, I realize that they're more feather than anything Oh oh and one time, I was like 12 and there were like 20 pigeons eating from a bag full of bagels so I walked over to them and touched one, but it's wing slapped me away
