The Enigma of Amigara Fault

This short story by Junji Ito is about a fault that appears in Amigara mountain after an earthquake. The earthquake exposes countless human-shaped holes in the mountain which seem to have been made about a thousand years ago. People, intrigued by these  silhouettes, gather at the site and that’s when things get creepy.

It’s about a 15-20 min read, but if you haven’t read this before, you’re in for a treat. Link above.

It is with the utmost pleasure of the century that we present to you…

Shockblurr Week!

Can you imagine our surprise when we realized that a ship as wonderful and long-standing as Shockblurr had never gotten its own dedicated week of celebration? Atleast, from what I heard of!! Well, we’re changing that! A group of passionate fans came together and decided it was finally time to make it happen. 

We are absolutely thrilled to announce Shockblurr Shipping Week — happening the thrid week of June 2026 (14th  – 20th)

This event is very relaxed and lenient. We don’t mind if you submit late — life gets busy and we totally understand! What matters most is that you participate, even if it’s only one piece. You can join every day or just pick your favorite — one day is more than enough. Finished or unfinished, art, fics, edits, model figures… everything is welcome! 

Please be kind and respectful to everyone and their creations. We’re here to have fun — it’s not serious! 

Content Guidelines 

- If your work includes gore, dark/heavy themes, or anything potentially triggering, please label it clearly.  But we do encourage it to be light.

- NSFW is allowed but must be properly labeled.  

Monday, June 14- Classical Literature: Any novel or mythology from the 1800s or later, don't matter!— Dracula, The Phantom of the Opera, etc. — or simply having them read books to each other.

Tuesday, June 15 – Date! : Self-explanatory! Coffee dates, scenic joyrides, romantic outings — whatever sparks joy!

Wednesday, June 16 – Hide & Seek! : Spy disguises and evasion, cute playground style, or anything in between — who cares, just have fun!

Thursday, June 17 – Surgery / Experiment : Blurr in a hamster wheel? Mad science? Playing chemist? Cute, angsty, or anywhere in between! 

Friday, June 18– Regret / Guilt: From light and adorable, like eating the last treat and regretting it later to deeper emotional angst.

Saturday, June 19 – Taming! : “How to Train Your Dragon” vibes, taming the beast, or taming a speedy little Autobot — your choice! 

Sunday, June 20: FREE DAY: Your day! Create whatever your spark desires — no rules!

These examples are just there to spark inspiration — you do no have to follow them exactly. Interpret the themes however you like! 

This is our first Shockblurr Shipping Week, so it’s not an official recurring event yet. If it goes well and everyone has a blast, we might make it a tradition in the future!
