   panic. that was a simple way to describe how kennedy was feeling at the moment. she’s been standing outside of will’s dorm room for at least ten minutes without knocking on it because she didn’t know what to do. it took her forever to buck up the courage to actually leave the sorority house and head over here. they had to talk, they had to have this conversation as much as she didn’t want to have this conversation. just tell him. just knock. 

    her hand dug into her bag to feel what she brought with her, wanting and hoping that it wasn’t actually there and she was in some weird lucid nightmare. no, no she wasn’t. there were seven more of them tucked away in a drawer in her room.

Before the terror of 1988, the Denbrough house was just that. It was a house, a carbon copy of every neighbor made in its likeness from this block to the next. However, now that Georgie Denbrough is a whole year off of the milk cartons, the Denbrough house is a place of fun. It is a place that exhumes negativity, breeding it and pumping it out like a factory’s exhaust pipe. IT lingers in an open doorway, yellow slicker still wet from rain that fell nearly a year and a half before. IT waits precociously, watching the boy before IT store something under the bed.
