it DOES!!! unfortunately, its a really small area and also italians hate us for it i think? ive been there on a few school trips and it seems nice!

im a pretty picky eater and almost every dish we have either has cottage cheese in it (bad) or is a stew, but i like krofi (krof?). its basically a doughnut without a hole and is stuffed with like. jam or something and powdered with sugar

hmmm. tbh the only thing i can think of is pust, which is a holiday like halloween but in february, and was made up so that we can “scare away the winter and welcome spring”.

so basically everyone just dresses up and does a parade around town (we go fucking nuts btw). every region in slovenia has their own mascot but the most well known one is the kurent (where i live!), which is a demonic creature that looks kinda like a bipedal goat, with bells on its belt and a long tongue etc. nowadays ppl can dress up as anything but most just wear a kurent costume lol

this is also the holiday in which we eat krofi :)
