bweird OCtober Day 23: Community Week Day 4!

Today I decided to draw the lovely, the wonderful, the show-stopping, @bobomcfoe 's Desa!

Just a simple shot, some downtime... perhaps she's waiting for someone, or just observing!

She is so stunning and so so compelling as a character, I simply needed to draw her! Hope I did her justice!!!

I'm in a really fucking cool fansession atm and our space and time players are soooooo silly in doomed timelines. They are very much HomuMado coded Noel (the super cool time player) belongs to: @redromeow

It's kinda disappointing knowing that they'll probably never remaster this game for various reasons, the biggest being that Edgar Rice Burroughs estate will demand their pound of flesh for any remakes/remasters

I got a notification from my backup software that it's been one year since I downloaded the image that would serve as a ref for a piece of gift art I planned for a random stranger I'd been trading likes with in the bweirdoctober tag. it was a picture of Desa, beloved oc of @bobomcfoe 💞

That was maybe the best decision I made in all of 2023! Brookie, you've been the light of many a day this last year, a source of encouragement and inspiration and delight. Discovering our shared interests, observing and absorbing your other passions, getting to know even more awesome people through you, our friendship has really been a highlight of my year.

My life has become a bit chaotic the last month or so, and I truly believe I've been more resilient and hopeful because of the beautiful network of artists and, above all, kindhearted people that I've become a part of... and it started with you :) Thank you for being a friend. And thank you @bweirdevents for bringing us together!

Due to the aforementioned chaos, I have some irons in the fire but nothing complete yet for community week... but this felt like a great way to kick off the week for me.

Looking forward to another year of making art and joy together ❤️ (And maybe some new friends? If you're reading this, don't be shy! There's always room for more love.)
