“Well, you’re just a LITTLE THING Now aren’t You?”
Booming vocal cords tightened by the sheer level of excitement from seeing something as pathetic and defeated at the clan’s leader, Renine. He tried to focus the best he could on what may or may not have been eyes. Struggling to breathe through fractured ribs, he muttered.
“...You are not... welcome here. Get out.”
“NO?! Ooooh but I think I AM.” The she-guardian shrieked.
With remark, she lowered her head until it was barely scraping the ground. Dozens of searing eyes now painfully close to the battered fae’s face and body. Deep exhales of rot washed over Renine. Even if he was to disregard the size difference there was no winning against the guardian’s raw ferocity.
She had appeared in the blink of an eye, and with her coming, he had lost everything. He lost everything to the monster in front of him: his territory, his family, and soon his life.
