⟨ ツリガネスイセン — Apati was one of those children that often preferred to give in and try to fix the problem by themselves rather than ask adults-- though, from this point onwards, there was a divergence that divided children in two categories: those who do not ask out of fear of adults, and those who do not ask to be more ‘though’ and more ‘grown-up’. Apati certainly wasn’t courageous, nor was she strong-willed, which made her fall into the first group. She feared adults and anyone older or taller for good reasons, and if she were to let others know, it’d be perfectly UNDERSTANDABLE.
... However, there were times in which she simply had to give in, tuck her fear behind her back and get her guts out: for example, when her attempts to gather flowers failed thoroughly and thoroughly continuously ( there were a lot of pretty flowers in this field, and she wanted them all. unfortunately she was too tiny to be able to obtain them by herself ) . Hence why, shuffling awkwardly, the girl pokes the hand of someone she assumed was not... busy, hopefully, and when she’d gotten their attention, she showed them a little notebook with something scribbled on it:
≈ i’m sorry, i’ve been trying since a while to get some flowers could you please help me? if it’s not too much trouble ≈
She seemed evidently nervous, given by her eyes. And the fact she was hiding her face with the notebook. ⟩
