Large 1997 earth ship in Colorado Springs, CO is pretty classy as far as earth ships go. It has 4bds, 3ba, 4.461sqft, $1,299,900 and it's pretty pricey, too.
While most earth ship main entrances are on the side, this one has a front door in the middle with a foyer and closet. It has the garden along the main "hall" wall, but it's very open and there's a large art piece.
To the right, there's a dining room.
And, there's a platform sitting area across the way.
In the middle there's a very large kitchen.
Unlike other earth ships, the kitchen is commercially manufactured.
And, on the left, on the other side of the kitchen, there's a living room.
It has a wall with a fireplace separating it from the kitchen, but there's a window.
Back here, there's some seating sculpted out of clay. Above, there's a loft.
Moving further down the indoor garden "hall," there are 2 curved free-standing walls and a wall with a fireplace.
The first bedroom is behind the fireplace.
It's a 2-sided fireplace.
There's a skylight and a sculped shelf (sort of) around the wall. They did a nice wood closet, also.
And, it has a large, sunny ensuite.
Fancy stairs.
It's empty up here, but I think it's finished.
So, these sculpted "pods" are small rooms.
Baths, to be specific.
This is something I've never seen in an earth ship. It's a huge office.
The other bedroom is way on the other side of the house. As, you can see, the rooms are open, but since they're so far apart, they're semi-private.
This one also has an ensuite. The bed is actually a Murphy bed, so it must be a guest room.
There's a big laundry room.
For such a large indoor garden, I'm surprised that there are so few plants.
2 car garage.
6.81 acres.
