occasionally i find myself starfished on the floor. my partner finds me mumbling incoherently about how ugly my art is.

my face. the world.

spiral. the universe breaches containment.

but it is all quite beautiful. regardless of how im feeling.

pictured here is the church by my grandfathers place in england.

i was quite taken by the hand embroidered prayer cushions. im not religious by any means, but i imagine that this particular creative effort was the purest expression of devotion.
