    The month had finally come to an end. Beast Boy's punishment was done and he was full to exit the spell the goth titan had surrounded him with. Even the small device on his leg was unlocked. Having to wear that without leaving the tower was hard. But, what was more difficult was not seeing the one person he cared about. Still, it was for the best.

   He had a lot of time to think to himself. Wondering what was he suppose to do after this was all said and over with. And now that it was, Gar felt a bit lost. He had written a long letter to Terra. There wasn't any other way he could face her right now. The shame and the guilt of not feeling he could make it up to her lingered around.

  Placing the letter under her door, he dashed away before she could see him. She must've heard by now that his time of being kept away from her was over. But, would she even seek to find him now? Having to work with her on the team was going to be tough but, that was the price of being a hero. Despite, his strong feelings for her.

  He sat in his room, leaning against the wall as he went downwards to his messy floor. His green eyes looked around his place, feeling a little like a zombie. He quietly said to himself.

" I'm sorry, Terra. But, I can't let you forgive me. I'm no better than...than..."

  Slade is what he wanted to voice out but, couldn't. Gar wanted to free her out of control yet he placed that on her by his selfish actions. There wasn't any way he could redeem himself from this.

She had him caged like the helpless animal he was and her grip on his chin tightened. "What's a goodbye without a goodbye kiss?" Terra smirked and kissed him on the lips before a spear shot at him from behind. "Bye bye," she cooed sweetly.

  How did he end up in this crazy mess?!

  One minute he was trying to convince his blonde love friend whoshe really was and how the brain washing from Slade was effecting her mind. But, so far,there wasn’t any luck. She kept attacking him head on and he had no choice but to defendhimself. Changing from animal to animal, it was hard for Gar to fight her.Especially, since she wasn’t herself. How was this fair? But, life was never fair tobegin with.

  As the geomancer got the upper hand, he was backed into to acorner. He felt his sweat dripping from his head, having had no idea how to getout of this mess. And then, the strangest thing happened. Terra had suddenlykissed him on the lips! This had to be some sort of wacked out dream. They werefighting each other and now she was locking lips with him?

  Though, he couldn’t lie to himself. A part of him was enjoying it but the other side, it wasn’t sincere. It kept putting down hisguard into a roller coaster the more the kiss grew. Until, the spear shot behind him. It went right through his shoulder, making a wound and feeling the blood loss throughout his body.

  Dropping to the ground, Gar could hear the blonde’s soft wicked laughter. It would send anyone shivers down their spine. Still, there was no way heabout to give up on her. He quickly placed one of Robin’s trackers on her legbefore she bolted from there. His eyes couldn’t see right but as long as heand the Titans could track her down, that’s what mattered.

  “ See you soon…Terra.”

  And with that, he was knocked out cold.

Terra wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her head lightly against his chest and shutting her eyes. She shut off everything around her, only listening to his heartbeat. It made her calm and feel safe. Letting out a content sigh, Terra smiled.

  The sunset was going down along the horizon as the green changeling sat on the roof top of Titans Tower. It had been a long day of fighting crime and going through confrontations with others. Slade had come back and it was making things into a total disaster all over again. This was the guy who was suppose to be dead. But, somehow, he survived that too. And now he was back, creeping up on all of them like a stalker.

  His thoughts instantly went on the geomancer. She was the most effected by him. How was she taking it? She recently joined back to the team and he felt like he was on cloud nine. And now, he feared she would quit and run off again. He didn’t blame her though. Going through that bad experience would make anyone want to get away from that. What could he do to help her? Gar felt useless that the one person he cared more than anyone was suffering and here he was, sitting like a loser by himself.

  Suddenly, he felt a surprise embrace and it took the green hero by surprise, almost letting out a yelp. It was Terra. His cheeks blushed red, feeling embarrassed of his little shriek, but he was known to yell out by the silliest things. But, it made him curious what she was doing.

  Then he saw it. She was listening to the sounds of his heart beats. It only made them increase more from the realization.  Her scent from her head was so close, it only made his butterflies in his stomach circle around from how much she was near. And without a moment’s notice, Gar saw that smile he loved so much. He wanted to capture that forever somehow. Never wanting to see her sad, always having her to lean on to him for anything.

  Resisting at first, the changeling placed his arm over the blonde’s shoulders. If this made her feel safe and happy, then he was going to do what he could to preserve that. His smile alone wanted to show that.

  “ You can always feel safe here, Terra. I promise. ”

  The sounds of the ocean waves filled the air.

  Two titans sat beside the shore of Titans Tower as they were in deep conversation with one another.

  Terra was expressing about having a nightmare the night before, feeling her guilt and betrayal for the team. How Slade was so abusive towards her and lied about everything. It gave her great pain on how she felt she ruined her life by something as dumb as wanting control over her powers. But, Gar disagreed with her completely.

  “ That’s not true, Terra. You had no control over your powers and I can see you weren’t happy. I don’t blame you for doing it. ” He said with a concerned look on his face.

  Maybe it was a bit controversial topic, but he didn’t care. Just knowing you had no physical control over yourself was very scary to him. He could only imagine how afraid she was from all those times of trying to get a hold of herself, but couldn’t.

  His fingers started to link together with hers, wanting her to feel the warmth of someone with her. Her eyes looked back at him with light tears, surprised of how affectionate he was being right now. But, this was Beast Boy. The one person who always wanted to push away those dark clouds and replace them with happy ones. Not once did he fail her of being at her side. Especially, not in this moment.

  “ Thanks, Beast Boy. I know it’s a little silly to go back to this all the time, but it’s just hard to get over it, you know? ” She said with a slight smile.

  “ Well, that’s why you got me. I’m gonna help you move past that, I promise. ” And he meant it, from the very bottom of his heart.

 “The Mun loooves her some good ol’ angst, but dude! I get it’s good storytelling, I do! But, can’t you give a guy a break already?!” He gave a pout frown, feeling small shivers of going so much sadness he didn’t sign up for!  

🔥 How would you spend one day with the mun if you could?

“Huh, didn’t really thought about it before.” It was time to put on his thinking cap again and start brain storming. And soon, he got a few ideas!

 “We could do some gaming, whether it’s on the game-station or our battling online on our phone apps. She seems pretty chill on trying new foods so I can show her some of my awesome Vegetarian recipes! And oh! A marathon on tons of anime!” He smiled brightly.
