After a sad therapy session today I thought I would continue weaving the hermit cocoon around myself. But @sofa_rocks and @chetangoodshield dragged me out of the cave and onto an amazing walk in the Tucson Mountains. We saw so much wildlife and the rocks are beautiful. The highlight for me was a buck and doe grazing the west side of a ravine. The doe looked like she was pregnant, but might have just been a chubby girl like me. The kids walked on but I had to stand and cry for awhile. She grazed and stared at me in calming intervals. At one point we locked eyes for a very long time and I knew she is royalty. I bowed to my Princess and left her to enjoy the greens. On our way back the sun was setting and we rounded a bend in time to see la Luna hanging like a piece of magick ice just over the ridge in front of us. Just a few hours from full she reminded me that it comes, it goes, it comes again. The love. The pain. The joy. The loss. All come and go like her shadows and light. Perhaps one day I will be able to endure the changes with the same beauty and grace as The Moon. #desertgoddess #serastar #serastarmoon #stardustandmoonshadows #tweakerscanrecover #sonorandesert #recentering #mooncycles (at Tucson, Arizona) https://www.instagram.com/p/CKkqIBPBb2C/?igshid=1p4undfppnaac
