उधम सिंह को जेनेरल डायर को मार कर अपना बदला लेने के लिए 21 सालों तक इंतजार करना पड़ा

शहीद उधम सिंह उस निडर और जांबाज भारतीय का नाम है जिसने जलियांवाला नरसंहार के हत्‍यारे और दोषी को मारकर इस जघन्‍य हत्‍याकांड का बदला लिया था। वो 26 दिसंबर का दिन था जब उन्‍होंने लंदन में जनरल डायरको गोली मारकर अपनी वर्षों पुरानी प्रतिज्ञा पूरी की थी। उधम सिंह को डायर की हत्‍या के आरोप में 31 जुलाई 1940 को फांसी दे दी गई थी। जिस वक्‍त कोर्ट में उन्‍हें दोषी ठहराते हुए फांसी की सजा देने का आदेश दिया…
