Design and troubleshooting

With an anthology of bredliks I definitely wanted to go for something cow-ish on the covers. I went to Google for pictures and, after a short search I found that Google has a disappointing amount of cow licking things silhouettes! So I searched for normal pictures, traced the ones I liked with sketchpaper to check which one would make a good silhouette, copied them to a usable size and started cutting. 

In the process of cutting and gluing and finishing covers, I ran into the problem of mixing up my covers (I’m working at two at the same time). Which would be no problem at all, if they weren’t slightly different sizes and now the overhang was a bit short. With the real threat of hinges being able to ‘shrink’ I decided to sand the front of the already cut and rounded book body. 

On the upside is the sanded book body, on the downside the other one that didn’t need sanding. It really makes quite a difference, but I just can’t get myself to sand front edges without a really good reason  (meaning, either wanting to paint it or fearing the result would look crappy if I don’t)

Crimson on the Neo Tokyo Project website shows how to transfer designs printed by a regular laser printer on card stock directly to EVA foam using acrylic gel medium. It looks pretty cool!

Huion light box is the best LED light box I have used!

Several days ago I got my huion A2 light box. It is extremely thin and light. I love it at the first sight. Its’ surface is white and black. Look like the piano. Very beautiful and I really like it. Also it is very light, which also makes me very impressed.

The light box is unbelievable light with a  20.5 by 12.6 working area. Compared with other kind of light box, which is heavy and dull, the Huion A2 light box is so outstanding and amazing. Connect the light box with a power adapter and turn it on, you will find how bright it is. Change the brightness by the power switch and easily get the brightness you want.

When I got it, I can wait to have a try. After working with it over one hour, I feel comfortable and not feel hurting my eyes. Just as they describe on the product page, the tablet is very bright and light. Even you put several papers on it, you could see through regular printer paper and 160lb paper at the same time! How amazing.  

But for the great product, it still has some point to improve. The power cord is too short and it is not that convenience when using. If the manufacturer can make it longer, the light box will be perfect.

All in total, the light box is well worth the price. It is the best light box I have seem compared with other heavy and dull light box. It is beautiful, light, bright and very cheap!  Great ! Do it!
