Haven't checked out my @designableco feed? I'm making some cool stuff over there. ・・・ Hey now! Look how the color pops on this walnut after the application of #rubiomonocoat pure oil. I had to shorten the length of the video to fit the Instagram time limit, but it really is this quick to apply the product. I use a plastic spreader to get an even coat and spread quickly (without wasting product), a buffing pad to work it into the pores (with light pressure) and a shop towel to wipe off the excess. Rubio recommends letting the product sit for 3-5 minutes to adhere to the wood fibers (but not longer than 15 minutes), but for the video purposes I wiped it right away (I did reapply some after the video). One coat, and this build is done. I'll do a follow-up post to show some details. I still don't know what I'm doing with it (clock, wall art or small table top) but at least it's finished. #designableco #repost #woodworking
