For just €55.00 A Brilliant old display box originally used by a pen maker to display the various woods he could make your pens from. The blanks themselves are tapered cylinders, Each one labelled with the name of the variety in French. There are certainly woods here I have never even heard of but There are also examples of ebony,Iroko,Acajou and tons more. 24 to be precise. Now I have to say I was pretty excited when I found this, I have a big soft spot for the Variations in wood, And this is a wide variety of specimens. These are perfect for display and use for making a number of projects, such as custom handles, Whittling, and of course Pens. The box is made of Hardwood and has wooden slats inside to keep them tidy when on display. A great chance to get a lot of different varieties at once. Each blank is approx 1/2" (16mm) in diameter x 5 3/8" (13.5cm) The box is a bit worn, but the blanks are in great shape. Please see the photos for complete details on condition.
