In this module of Design Context, I have jumped out of my comfort zone and tired various projects, like making an artist’s book, creating a 3D letters window display and creating a map design. I enjoyed most was the project of making the map design of Coventry University, I personally love using digital software to create my work, and this was such a great opportunity to have an enhancement of my techniques. I attempted to make it in a 3-dimensional style, which made things more alluring. The most challenging part was definitely making the 3D letters window display, I didn’t like making the actual things because I am not good at doing that which makes me feel extremely frustrated, I could not believe that I have made it. However, if I have another chance to make an improvement, I would, first of all, make a better linkage between my sketchbook and my research folder, since I made a weak linkage in between them. Yet, as this is crucial for people who do not know my work to understand more. On top of this, I would do more research via different forms and ways but not only relying on the Internet, like reference more books from the library and went to some exhibitions. Last but not least, I would write down more notes and draw more initial sketches into my sketchbook and evidence my progress.
