1. How was your concept conceived?
My mom tailored clothes for my sister and I, so I always looked for clothes and hats with originality then decided to make my own!
2. What is your source of inspiration? Where do you find motivation?
Meeting new people, listening to music, seeing the emotional side of nature, new materials or colors at a yarn store, all play an important role in my creativity.
3. What’s your favorite accessory story?
My favorite accessory is a crochet feather headband, also popular amongst my customers. My designs are mostly for casual wear, so I created something both sexy and smart.
4. Advice for new designers?
Participate in the street fairs and/or outdoor markets to meet different people, and get feedback to motivate and inspire other ideas.
5. What’s next for you?
I want to collaborate with other designers from different fields and do more fashion shows! I enjoyed working with the SABIT NYC Show last September.

1. How was your concept conceived?
My passion for fashionable affordable footwear, in 9 years, we’ve expanded to apparel, jewelry, purses, hats, scarves, and gloves.
2. What is your source of inspiration?
I follow other fashion designers but love Rachel Zoe's sense of style and purpose.
3. What’s your favorite accessory story?
Favorite pieces are local jewelry designers Beryl, Blush, Blonde and Bou Cou - I'm a huge fan of their bold, big pieces and vintage styles. Each piece can make ANY outfit.
4. How do you maintain authenticity in your work/styles that you sell?
I maintain authenticity by staying true to myself and true to what the customers want and expect.
5. Advice for new designers?
Find something unique - don't try to be like anybody else.
6. Name one “Don’t” for reader to keep in mind when accessorizing?
Do not OVER-accessorize - pick a few bold pieces that make a statement, that will get noticed, otherwise it’s too much and all gets lost.
7. What’s next for you?
My 2nd location just opened in Atlantic Station! Once it is up and running I will develop an e-commerce site!
