One step back. After my research on excessive mobile phone usage at the dinner table (mainly in the first semester), I need to think about HOW to threat the device at the dinner table. 4 concepts can be considered: (1) the phone must be away from the table, (2) the phone cannot be picked up from the table, (3) the phone needs to be used during interaction (4) remove the phone’s functions by blocking the Wi-fi signals - hide it in a special box or case ...

What is important to take into consideration? What is my vision as a designer? How should the phone be treated? Does this somehow fit the user’s needs/behaviour?
