I’ve been brainstorming fire pit bench ideas over the last few weeks. Today I decided about an hour before dark to make something happen. I freestyled (made it up as i went) this bench design with materials around my house and yard. Main board was a 2x10 plank, 10 feet long. Final bench is about 6 feet long, 18” high. My favorite detail is the front edge chamfer for comfort. Pretty stoked! Trying to decide on a design for a #box that uses this #spanishcedar and #walnut . I'm thinking of making the box out of the #cedar with the base and lid framed in #walnut .
