Dominic Yard: Toy Designer
I read a great article on the Pinterest blog, and I wanted to tell you a bit about the guy from the interview.
Dominic Yard is a toy inventor & designer from London. He sharpened his teeth at Fuse London creating toys for brands like Hot Wheels and Polly Pocket. Among other things, Dominic is now learning to fly with his own toy inventing company Yard.

His passions include bikes, surf, snowboarding etc - the funner things in life! After completing his product design degree he spent 1 1/2 years in Queenstown doing some graphic design and shredding, before moving to London and landing a gig at Polly Pocket. His playful style turned out to be a great fit.
Dominic rocks the pins hard. And why not? A great way to gather inspiration and ideas and information, it's got a great community that seems to hunt down the best of the internet and share it with peers. Everyone gets to be a curator, and the desktop doesn't get all flustered (This is my problem)
Be warned though, it's easy to get carried away. My mom loves to pin since discovering it over a year ago, and she's found that her pinning productivity on the iPad is sensational. As a creative though she never seems short of inspiration, and I actually enjoy browsing her stuff (even though it clogs my feed sometimes) to peak my own interests.
