Energy.
The most interesting thing I found was when I was prescribed a short course of steroids how much energy they gave me... I was like a Duracell bunny bouncing off the walls, waking up, and actually getting on.

Pirate Day.
Was going to write about Hastings Pirate Day - a day where the town dresses up as pirates and heads to the beach - but to be honest I remember very little of it due to ‘Pirating’.

Abstract yet Cellular
Link to a great design blog: Clara Fialho is an American based artist who’s abstract works I first spotted online and was instantly drawn to... I enjoy her works because to me they embrace many of the qualities I find engaging and strive to achieve in my own work; a sense of abstractness, colour, a natural and ‘biological’ feel and the feeling of experimentation. When I look at many of her works I am made to think of membranes and cells, this may be as biology is an interest of mine, but this is the image that I often carry away from her work. I would hope yo be able to replicate some of the qualities of her works in the future, not as a copy but be able to show the sense of playful experimentation in abstract works.
