Textile design and freelance illustrator, Ciara Phelan, has been commissioned for some pretty important/high-profile projects, and she is based in London. One of Ciara's talents is creating incredible collages, as you can certainly see in these photos. You can’t miss: Edition 9

If you didn't have a chance to make a Cat's Cradle when you were growing up, I'm just not sure what kind of childhood you had! But have no fear, this week on designworklife.com, you can see Susan Angebranndt's (of Santa Fe's Green Chair Press) creation: mini matchbox books. And yes, the books are actually matchbox size, handmade, and adorable. I'm not sure if I'd have the patience to work on something so small, but Angebranndt does an amazing job making them look so delightful and cohesive! Topics range from "Artist in a Box," to Pride and Prejudice, and even childhood hobbies, apparently. Take a look at the whole collection here!

     Woah. Wow. Jaw drop. I haven't even read the article yet, but already beyond excited for the new look and feel. Design Work Life is a top-notch blog and it absolutely deserves all of the love and attention it recieves. Hopefully only more of it, now!
