yea i used nutritional shakes (ensure specifically) to get out of a similar phase of reentry it’s just i’m sure as you know they’re super expensive so i buy them but i limit myself to 1 per day because i don’t wanna blow through all of them at once just to get my head on straight and by the time i’m in “can’t sleep mode” that’s my body saying “you somehow managed to fuck up not getting in at LEAST 600-900 calories more than you did” which is at least 2 or 3 like half a pack so i’m just now realizing the problem is me making excuses actually thank you for this

do you think it's because it seems a little fetishizing? gay women are known for being less garbage about appearance than straight people but because of that there's like a hyperawareness of it and people don't really examine what they're saying. it's almost performative like 'look at me and how accepting i am, i'm attracted to ANY woman'. kinda explains the i'm gay and not wow she looks great

i don't have any context so keep that in mind but it's not that an apology should "work." if the situation calls for an apology, you should give one and accept the outcome whether they forgive you or not. apologies are not requests for someone's trust. they're for stating on the record that you did something wrong.
