Been thinking about a horror plot where a group of friends applied to one of those time share packages where you win a free stay somewhere but once they get to the location things around them starts getting all creepy and spooky. Noises down the halls, creaking steps and doors and for whatever reason they can't seem to cross the threshold to the outside. So now there's no way of leaving, and no way of contacting the outside world. They just got to survive in there as long as they can with whatever's inside, limited resources and dwindling rations. I think this could be nice with both a pair as well as a larger friend group. Add in some drama between some of the members, and odd occurrences that turn more violent with each night they remain in there. Options are endless could be some demonic being, or a singular entity, maybe just a haunted place luring victims in.
