You have, in your time around, been subjected to a fair few strong reactions. Mostly surprise, occasionally fear. This one is new, though- fear mixed with fury and a touch of murderous intent- which is something you are intimately familiar with, pale hands gripping your hair and yanking before you can even think he's able to move that fast.
Your mistake for assuming, you suppose.
However, you can't simply let that go, because doing so would mean just letting him think he can do that to whoever. And you don't think some others here will be so lenient. It doesn't take much- a touch of psionics and a mild lock on his limbs, keeping his head present in the moment to speak to you.
"Alright! Well- are you quite done with that reaction? I can let you go if you are, but it really was quite rude..."
