How I Define "Thrifting"
I'm just going to ignore dictionary definitions for a minute and tell you what I mean when I use the term "thrifting" on this blog and in real life. Shopping that I'll call thrifting includes but is not limited to:
Yard/garage sales
Off-price stores with new clothes like Ross and Marshalls
Consignment shops, even if they're not dirt cheap
Actual thrift shops, like Goodwill or Value Village
Inheriting free clothes from people who have grown out of them or just don't wear them anymore
Community swap meets, either online or in public
Buying new things in the store they were originally in, but for a super marked-down price
Basically, anytime I pay less than I could have for something, that's thrifting. At least to me.
Coming soon: Tips on how to find cool stuff at thrift stores if you are one of those people who "can never find anything good." Are you excited?!
pls check out my blog? c: xx
