i was wondering what are the chances a netskie or a kawkaw shimeji getting made (when the sprites get to a more available state) they are my favs aside from the flowers

I definitely want to do the little netskies, maybe the larger one as well? I’m waiting for the sprite sheets to decide if I should do both, and whether they should be separate or not.

Kawkaw would be fun, I hadn’t thought of that! It mostly comes down to what sprites are available to use. If there’s enough for a couple animations, dragging/dropping, and some movement, there’s a solid chance I’ll make it.

I probably won’t do the main flowers just because I don’t think it’s realistic for me to make them all right now and I’d feel bad leaving some out. Maybe one day though! (I also have a feeling there will be no shortage of them by other shimeji artists)

Some news about future desktop pet releases:

After checking with the shimeji discord, I realized some key functionalities for my next (intended) major project are not currently supported. I will continue to look for a solution, but because this could take a while, I am focusing on some smaller projects for the time being.

With the release of deltarune chapter 5, you can expect sprite updates to existing shimejis soon, and potentially some new ones in the coming months!
