Another year in the bag.

2024 was full of ups and downs, but in spite of the rocky road we still managed to do a bunch of cool stuff.

We had a lineup change after coming back from hiatus. Iris became our new live guitarist and has slipped into the role exceedingly well.

I released ‘Basement Dwellers’, a live rehearsal demo recorded off the floor at the Dank Basement (Aaron’s house in Glovertown) during our Atlantic Canada tour in 2023.

I also released the single “Graceless Ebb”, which directed people through the Bandcamp page to donate to various charities for relief from the still ongoing genocide in Gaza.

My ninth album ‘Oceanic Heritage’ from 2023 was released on cassette thanks to Jerome Arseno of Mean Street / Coastline Crew. My first proper cassette release!

We got ourselves a bespoke stage banner thanks to the incredibly talented and skilled Artemis Tratnik.

I was interviewed by Sewer Spewer for their special Patreon show Sewer Stewards, in which I got to talk about touring, being in different bands, and upcoming projects!

One of the worst moments of 2024 was getting our apartment broken into and having my guitar stolen, among other things including a bunch of band money, a laptop, and bullet belts. Luckily, however, at least one of those things was returned to me, as my beloved Sifrera eventually made its way back into my hands.

We got to play with and open for a bunch of cool bands like Desolus and Spiter.

In September of 2024 we toured the Maritimes alongside our eternal chovms Anti-Criss! It was so sick to return to the east coast this year and be belligerent with our Rimouski siblings.

Then in November of 2024 we toured Ontario alongside our old friends in Twin Banshee. This marked our first proper Ontario tour and we played a bunch of cities we’ve never had the chance to until now.

I want to thank everyone who has listened to or bought my music this year, everyone who came out to one of our shows to check us out live, and everyone who bought merch, talked to us, posted about us, and anything else that helps us out as a band.

Thanks most of all to my bandmates Erin and Iris for just kicking ass.

i put in three hours on Sir Morris this morning, and on a whim decided to paint on the cog borders so many admech have, becuase i wanted to make it more difficult than it neaded to be i guess xD looks good tho i think

this morning's progress on Pavise Atheus was mostly smaller details like cables and such, with a bit of black blobbing on the top half. oh and getting the tolt shield ready to paint a coat of arms on. it may be decked out in camo but its still a knight after all
