Potentially actually making the Desparking a decent bit of story?
Ok, so reading through the story a bit at the moment, specifically the side story right now, and I found this bit
Now, I've made it very clear I hate the desparking. BUT, if this is where they're taking it, that the sparks were "moved" into different things (AND NOT THE OMENPATHS) I think that would at least be interestin
Having the sparks potentially move into items that one can use to planeswalk or items that can be used to transfer a spark back into them (also reminds me of Nahiri's spark moving into that one bit of stone/hedron), I think it could actually be interesting. Having former planeswalkers scouring the multiverse to find the piece they lost, while others seek the same thing to gain more power.
Nicol Bolas: (while being desparked) Liliana! The gods are revolting!
Liliana: (nonplussed) Finally something we agree on.
