Create a stunning and delicious dessert board for your 4th of July celebration with a colorful assortment of fresh fruits, chocolate-dipped strawberries, sweet peanut butter drizzle, and s'mores-inspired treats. Perfect for sharing with family and friends on Independence Day!
Ingredients: 1 cup fresh strawberries, washed and hulled. 1 cup fresh blueberries, washed. 1 cup fresh raspberries, washed. 1 cup fresh blackberries, washed. 1 cup red seedless grapes, washed and removed from the stem. 1 cup white chocolate chips. 1 cup dark chocolate chips. 1 cup mini marshmallows. 1 cup pretzel rods. 1/2 cup peanut butter. 1/2 cup honey. 1/2 cup whipped cream. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers. 4th of July themed sprinkles.
Instructions: Make sure all the fresh fruits are dry before you wash and prepare them. Do this in 30-second chunks in a bowl that can go in the microwave until the chocolate chips are smooth and creamy. Do it again this time with dark chocolate chips. Melt some dark chocolate and dip half of the strawberries in it. Then dip the other half of the strawberries in the white chocolate. As they cool, put them on parchment paper to make them hard. Use low heat to melt the peanut butter and honey together in a small saucepan, making a peanut butter drizzle. Put the pretzel rods, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and other ready-to-eat foods on a large serving platter or board. For treats that taste like s'mores, add mini marshmallows and crushed graham crackers to the board. Spread some of the peanut butter mixture on top of the pretzels and fruits. Mix the powdered sugar into the cream and whip it until stiff peaks form. Then, put the cream on the board. For a fun touch, sprinkle the whole board with 4th of July-themed sprinkles. Serve right away and enjoy!
