Heh yup! The entire first third of this episode they are having a lovers spat, and poor Sam is caught in the middle. The middle third is all Dean being like DONT YOU DARE TALK TO MY HUSBAND THAT WAY YOU DICK and the final third is power couple hunting husbands choosing each other and fighting side by side and loving each other and forgiving each other and omg god YES this was SO GOOD.

But yeah that moment in the car was so brilliant. Can I please emphasise the fact that this started because Cas said that Benjamin wouldn’t “put himself in harms way if he could help it” and Dean decided to pick up on that and use it against Cas because Cas DID put himself in harms way and that is the very reason that Dean is so angry. Because he is worried about his stupid husband.

They were such an old married couple and it was so brilliant. But seriously though, what made this whole scene (and the whole first section) better was poor long suffering Sam. Jared played that so well it was comedy gold. Comedy gold that only works if you think of him as a third wheel in the middle of a lovers spat. (Hence Destiel is real and therefore this entire episode doesn’t exist apparently. We all hallucinated it in a fever dream.)

Poor Sammy. :P

this episode was almost perfect

I give this episode 99 out of 100. I took 1 out becuse blood stains throughout the whole episode, especially the one on Lily’s shirt when she was healing herself, were as fake as Dean’s straightness
