To the Bane Twins: What did you think of your little adventure with Jody and the Winchesters? And what did you think about Sam? We know that you've heard some rumors and stories about him, did he live up to that in your opinion?
“Okay, first of all,” Alicia starts while Max grins, already agreeing with whatever she’s going to say, “little adventures are when we do a salt-and-burn and finish in time to still catch a matinee at the movies. Not typically how I would describe rushing into a showdown starring all four archangels.”
“Not to mention that brilliant piece of magic we improvised to find a human-turned-angel-kid,” Max adds. “Definitely a highlight I’ll be feeling good about for decades to come.”
“And secondly, the only opinion we respect concerning the Winchesters is Jody’s. Hunters are worse than fishermen when it comes to telling tales.”
Max nods. “And believe us–we know just how convoluted those tales can be. The hunting community has had plenty to say about us being witch twins, and most of it does not bear repeating.”
“And for every rumor started about us, there are probably a hundred about the Winchesters.” Alicia rolls her eyes in annoyance. “Safe to say, we didn’t put much stock in any of those stories.”
“Jody’s the only one who knows those boys on a personal level, and her stories seemed to line up with what we saw.” Max looks to his sister for confirmation.
“Expect for Sam being a gentle giant and nerdy badass,” she says, “but I think her info was a little out of date. She described Dean perfectly, though–all alpha-aggression when his brother was in danger, and domestic-sweetheart when he was safe.”
“Wasn’t he just.”Max grins again.
“Stop it,” Alicia warns knowingly. “You know what Jody said–that boy’s off limits unless you happen to be a poorly dressed blue-eyed angel.”
“Well, excuse me for having eyes that see, sister dear!” Max laughs. “Of course, that warning didn’t extend to the other gorgeous specimens we met, right?”
“I’d be careful with Raphael. But I think Gabriel might be a safe bet,” she assures with a wink.
“We’ll have to go see them again soon. And not just for flirting. We didn’t really get the chance to know Sam this past trip.”
Alicia nods. “Poor boy was in shock. I’d like to see him when he’s all healed-up and back on his feet. I bet he gives even those angels a run for their money.”
“Angel or human, adult or child, Sam’s still a Winchester. If they ain’t causing trouble, then trouble’s finding them,” Max agrees. “Maybe we’ll swing by around the new year. I bet they’d throw a great party.”
