They should have had Dean have a hookup during the divorce arc but it ends up being incredibly unfulfilling and in the next scene we see him hovering over Cas's contact in his phone but turns it off instead of calling. And the show doesn't acknowledge this ever again.

the thing with the whole "last time someone looked at me like that, I got laid" bit dean said is that while its just a cheap gay joke, it lands so horrifically bad in scene that it just sounds like hes propositioning cas very poorly. dean fumbled so hard he became the gay joke
