I've said it before, but the Alt John and Mary armbar scene is something I know deep down that Dean and Cas did too—especially after the first time Cas got cut off from Heaven.

Anyway, over in my season 5 headcanon-land, Dean keeps taunting and lecturing Cas about how in real fights, anything goes, and you have to fight dirty—and Cas is just rolling his eyes, because if anyone knows that, it's Cas.

Anyway, TL;DR: Dean, Mr. Junior Wrestling Champion himself, does get Cas in the armbar.

And

Cas ends up biting Dean's leg.

In Camp Chitaqua, if people have bad news or want something, they get Cas to approach Dean about it

it takes Cas a very long time to figure this out btw. he likes having the opportunity to be around Dean even if it means carrying messages or giving bad news that makes Dean mad

and everyone he questions about it is like "Yeah Dean likes you better than everyone else, plus better him be mad at you than me."

Hello...I just watched a video of Twist and Shout and now I need emotional support. I knew better, but I couldn't resist and now look at me...Elvis, milk, milkshakes, motorcycles, the beach, and even the very phrase "see you then" are now sources of great pain! Help me pls I need Spnblr comfort, somebody recommend some fluffy joyous Destiel fics?

Title got a ™ I haven't really gotten the mood to read TS (too rom-trag for me) but if its fluffy ones in AU you can check out @malmuses work. I read theirs when I'm pretty much chilling out and wants less stress in life~ there's also a scary long list of talented authors in this fandom but i suck at titles 😵

Two weeks after Team Free Will saves the world a final time, Dean's not doing so hot. An encounter with the kind pawn shop owner in Lebanon leads him to take up playing the guitar again to cope with losing Cas, something he hasn't done since he was sixteen and living at Sonny's Boys' Home. This kicks off a series of events which includes Claire arriving at the bunker looking for answers on Cas's death and which ultimately leads to Dean finding himself in possession of Orpheus's original lyre. Armed with the power of music and love and with Claire hot on his heels, Dean sets off on an epic quest to save his beloved from the Empty's clutches, Hadestown-style. Can they defy the power of the narrative one final time, or will Dean succumb like Orpheus before him?

You know those plots where a lover writes their would-be lover all these wonderful, hopeful, revealing letters and the villain stashes them elsewhere or tosses them in the fire?

I love the concept that Chuck works to do pretty much the same thing... but with intercepting Dean's prayers to Cas.

It's like Chuck wanted them to play a game of pinata. He's constantly putting Dean and Cas in blindfolds and spinning them around and around... till they're too dizzy to see where they're going and...

then giving them all manners of stick and saying "BASH THE PINATA GO"

And then Dean and Cas feel their way in the dark and just try to find each other and smoochies instead of swinging at what they're supposed to
